VENTO

Artist biography

Vento is the artist project of Fernando Alves, a Brazilian DJ and radio curator based in Los Angeles. Moving through Indie Dance, Afro House, Latin House and House, his sets connect electronic textures with rhythmic warmth. His radio work includes Electric Waves on Data Transmission, sessions for Radio Italia Network, and Vento Sessions on Ibiza Sonica’s platforms. With a background in guitar and music theory, he approaches each set as a continuous composition, shaping tension, release and atmosphere across the full journey. His radio introductions draw on philosophy and psychology, creating a thoughtful entry point into the music. In a SHOUTOUT LA interview, he discussed Brazilian musical roots, live guitar and the discipline of building an authentic creative practice. Vento Sessions 002, published as Nando Alves by Ibiza Sonica Radio, reached a peak of #1 in Mixcloud’s global Indie Dance chart for that upload.
