BIO
Fernando Alves, known as Vento, is a Brazilian DJ and radio curator based in Los Angeles, working across Europe and the United States. His sound moves between Indie Dance, Afro House, and Tech House, blending electronic structure with global rhythms to create sets that feel warm, energetic, and atmospheric.
With a background in guitar and music theory, he approaches a mix as a single, evolving piece rather than a sequence of tracks. On radio, he often opens with short, reflective messages inspired by philosophy, psychology, and both Eastern and Western thinkers, aiming to give listeners not just music, but a moment of presence and a clearer headspace to start their day.
He is a member of the Pete Tong DJ Academy, where he continues to refine his craft and approach to radio and performance. He currently hosts a weekly morning show on Radio Italia Network, airing Thursdays at 8:00 AM (Italy), and is also a regular host on Data Transmission Radio, broadcasting Sundays at 7:00 PM (UK). Together, these platforms and additional European collaborations reach a combined audience of over 50,000 weekly listeners.
His collaboration with Ibiza Sonica led to a #1 position on the Indie Dance charts on Mixcloud, marking a milestone in his growing international recognition as an Indie Dance DJ and radio creator.
At its core, his work is about movement — music that doesn’t simply play in the background, but subtly shifts how people feel as they move through their day.
